Kevin Kyle, Owner/CEO
Kevin is perfectly positioned to help winery, estate and ranch owners with their fire planning needs.
He has an extensive knowledge base in biology, production, forest ecology and fire science. He earned a B.S degree in Aquaculture at the University of Maine but found himself pursuing winemaking and after several internships began studying Enology and Viticulture. He worked for 12yrs in the wine industry gaining insight in cellar, lab and vineyard management.
After the 2017 fire season, he changed careers and decided to face his fears of fire and smoke by learning everything about wildfire forest management.
He worked for Pacific Tree Care in Calistoga as a tree climber and groundsman and then started with Davey Resource Group as a Certified Utility Forester prescribing tree work and assessing tree health as a contractor of PG&E.
He has continued his extensive studies of wildfire management by obtaining a Firefighting 2 certification, attending seminars and workshops in every aspect of fire preparation. He has deep knowledge of tree species, forest and tree health and diseases. Most importantly he understands that making your estate less vulnerable to fires is one of the most important things you can do for yourself and your community.
